More than 500 people celebrated Irish Day at Maida Hill Market. The whole community, both young and old, enjoyed traditional singing and dancing, along with a free barbecue. More than 700 burgers and sausages were served up to revellers. There were brilliant performances by David White, Mike Lee, Murphy Diggins School of Dance and Angie Songbird who kept the crowds entertained.

ST MARY’S PAEDIATRIC DEPARTMENT
Westways helped sponsor ‘Back to Fashion Future’ by Imperial College London aiming to raise a substantial amount of money for St Mary’s Paediatric Department. More than 6000 lives have been saved on the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit since it opened in 1992. Each year the Paediatric team provides more than 20,000 outpatient appointments, cares for 9,000 inpatients and treats around 25,000 children in the 24-hour paediatric Accident and Emergency Department.

Westways sponsored Harrow Road Goes Irish. Over 500 people gathered on Maida Hill Market to celebrate Irish Day. Plenty of good music, dancing in the streets and a free barbecue all day! The event was opened by Patrick Maguire, a local author & artist and there were brilliant performances by David White, Rosemary Delaney, Murphy Diggins School of Dance, Podge and Rodge and Mike Lee.
